Arriana Harris, MS, NCC, LCMHC

Our Mental Health serves as the foundation for self- efficacy, positive interpersonal relationships, resilience, and overall physical health.    As a counseling professional, I recognize the vital role that mental health plays in quality of life; therefore, I strive to help clients find balance and manage stress in order to maximize their potential.    I strive to help diverse populations mitigate stressful situations, life changes, confront issues related to past trauma, and foster positive relationships with others.  I also provide couples with support in conflict resolution, positive communication, and overcoming challenges.

I provide a safe space for my clients to share their concerns and work through difficult issues.   I tailor my approach to cater to the uniqueness of each individual client.   I am a strong believer in the “mind, body, and spirit “connection and I believe that my role as therapist is that of a catalyst for change.   My sessions promote behavioral change through teaching mindfulness, goal setting and, promoting balance and self -awareness.   I believe that positive mental health begins with learning to cope with a wide array of emotions to help mitigate life’s changes and challenges.

I earned a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from East Carolina University.   I am licensed as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor  as designated by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors.   I am also a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional School Counselor.   My experience includes working with adolescents and adults.

I love helping others reach their full potential. Whether it’s moving through your season of self work or strengthening your bond as a couple, I look forward to helping you on this journey to a healthy and positive you.
